Janis Savitt

Janis Savitt was born and raised in New York City. She is the daughter of an artist father and a fashion savvy mother. She spent her childhood immersed in fine arts, culture, and following the latest fashion trends. While still in high school, Janis originally fabricated pieces for Van Cleef and Arpels, Cartier, Henri Bendel, and Bloomingdales. Along with her sister Michelle, Janis built the renowned M&.T Savitt, assuming her position as jewelry designer of the company.

Janis recently launched JANIS by Janis Savitt, her first independent collection comprised of classic and luxurious jewelry with a sleek modern edge, suitable for girls of all ages.

Janis is continuously acknowledged for her excellence in design and superior quality fine jewelry. She was nominated 2 times by the CFDA for Accessory Designer of the Year. She has won 3 DeBeers Diamond International Awards and 20 DeBeers Diamond National Awards. Janis has also received numerous other key awards within the industry.
