What makes this Vela Toi et Moi different from the Pear & Emerald version? This version pairs a pear-shaped diamond with a round brilliant diamond rather than an emerald-cut stone. The round brilliant sits within a smooth, high-polish bezel, while the pear diamond is lifted in an airy open basket setting, creating contrast through both shape and setting style.

What is an open basket setting? An open basket setting is a framework beneath the stone that allows light to pass through from below and the sides while securely supporting the diamond. It gives the pear-shaped stone a lighter, more lifted appearance.
